Why Vinden.one?

Vinden means wind (in Swedish), search and thinking (in Danish). We works where there are no templates — helping businesses think, decide, move, and grow in constantly changing environments.

The name Vinden appeared almost ten years ago — long before the current Vinden.one practice took shape. At the time, I was looking for a name for an agency that would move beyond PR and into more complex marketing and strategic work. Even then, one thing was clear: the world was accelerating, the environment was becoming unstable, and businesses could no longer afford to “adapt once every few years.” They had to operate, evolve, and grow in conditions of constant change. Strategies were becoming outdated faster than they could be written. Companies could no longer simply “execute a plan” — they had to think, reorganize, and move within a continuously shifting landscape.

Vinden comes from the Swedish language. Several years of working in a Swedish company, Tele2, had a strong influence on how I think. In Swedish, vinden means wind — dynamic, variable, powerful. Wind cannot be stopped, but it can be understood: its direction, speed, and force. And once understood, movement can be built not against it, but with it. It’s a precise metaphor for today’s markets and businesses, which are no longer stable by default.

Over time, another layer of meaning emerged. In Danish, vinden means to find and to think — an unexpectedly accurate coincidence. Today, Vinden, as I’ve shaped it into a strategy and change practice, is exactly about this: searching for solutions where no templates exist; treating strategy not as a document, but as a living process of thinking, testing, adjusting, and moving forward; and working with a partner you can think and act alongside in a changing environment.

That’s why Vinden is about wind, search, and thinking — all at once.

We work where there are no instructions. Where businesses need to think, explore, and move forward together — even when the wind shifts.
